Condolence Message on the Occasion of Martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei

The Iranian Embassy in London issued a message offering condolences on the martyrdom of Ayatollah Khamenei the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran

We extend our condolences on the heavenly ascension and Ashura-like martyrdom of the wise Leader of the Islamic Revolution, His Eminence Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, to His Holiness the Imam of the Age (may God hasten his reappearance), the noble and resilient people of Iran, and all the free people of the world, and we mourn this immense loss.

That devoted and wise jurist of our time, who dedicated his blessed life to the exaltation of the word of truth, the safeguarding of the independence of our beloved Iran and the dignity of the Islamic Ummah, and the protection of human ideals and values, ultimately attained the lofty rank of martyrdom and joined the caravan of martyrs who defended Iran and Islam.

Undoubtedly, the name and path of that divine leader will remain forever in the historical memory of the Iranian nation and in the awakened conscience of the oppressed of the world, like a shining beacon. Steadfastness against arrogance, wisdom in guiding the nation, and asceticism and sincerity in personal conduct shaped from him a personality whose memory and school of thought will inspire generations beyond borders.

The Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in London, while expressing sympathy with Iranians and all admirers of lofty human values, asks Almighty God to grant the departed a high rank and companionship with the friends of God, and to bestow upon the great nation of Iran beautiful patience and abundant reward.
